Sustainability is a complex issue involving social, economic, cultural, and natural structures. Despite advances in technology, humanity is still failing to manage the Earth’s resources sustainably. The Paris Agreement and the resulting commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions are falling short of their goals. Relational sustainability was proposed to address these challenges by fostering constructive relationships between people, the environment, society, and the economy.
